Remembering our HERO

RIP Terrance.

We met young Terrance Maclaughlin in 2017 when he was just 10 years old.
He had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy- a terrible, debilitating, terminal disease.
But this boy had the biggest Heart.
And Terrance became our Hero.

He lost his ability to walk unassisted but continued to thrive at Astra Special School.
He had the biggest Smile and the biggest heart, and his love for sailing and how it brought so much joy to him, was what inspired us to start our Sailing therapy academy.

Terrance passed away on 31 March 2023 and will be missed by us all.
But his spirit lives with us, and his Giant HEART and Beautiful smile will continue to inspire and offer hope and optimism to many 1000s of children just like him.

Thank you Terrance!
RIP our little Hero!

Thanks to all those who assisted and help fund his medication, food, and well-being over his last weeks.

Thank you Mrs Mabotha for all you and Astra School did for Terrance.
