9Miles brought a lovely group of boys and girls to come have a sail with us, for most it was not their first time but stepping back into sailing has reminded them how confident they felt sailing on their first time with us. 

Their day with us started with fun games up at the park and thereafter we shared some stories with them. Jumped straight into life jackets and water safety and off they went sailing with huge smiles on their faces. 

It was beautiful to see their excitement as they stepped into the boats and embraced the experience. At the little optimist we aim to inspire these young boys and girls to shine bright and never give up. As we sail together with them on the boats , they share stories and experiences that a lot of us instructors can connect to which is something special for them, to be able to see that they can amount to anything they aspire to achieve.
