On 15 October, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of children from Eros to The Little Optimist for a fun day out on the water.
The group, made up of boys and one girl, arrived ready for an adventure, and it wasn’t long before the excitement kicked in. They got to experience the joy of being out on the water, enjoying the fresh sea air, learning a little about sailing and, most importantly, having fun together.
They had learnt about the importance of being in and around water. They had learnt about how negatively plastic pollution affects the ocean and environment. They had played some games that brightened their smiles and got their bodies moving. Meals were handed to them after all the learnings and activities. What an amazing day.
At The Little Optimist, moments like these remind us why we do what we do.
Thank you to the Eros group for spending the day with us. We loved having you aboard.
