Pausing to Celebrate, Reflect, and Give Thanks

As the year drew to a close, we came together to celebrate our year-end function at the Radisson rooftop pool — a moment not only of celebration, but of reflection on who we are and what we stand for as a charity organisation.

Set against the backdrop of the city skyline, the event began with meaningful conversations and shared laughter, paired with an unmistakable eagerness from many of our staff to embrace the rooftop pool experience. As colleagues took in the atmosphere and enjoyed the sense of freedom the setting offered, it became clear that this was more than just a gathering — it was a pause in time, a chance to simply be present.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Radisson for hosting us and to 9Miles for their generous support in making this event possible. Their contributions helped create a space where our team could relax, reconnect, and recharge.

As the day continued, we shared good food, easy conversation, and moments of quiet reflection. It was a rare and valuable opportunity to catch up on life beyond our roles, to slow down, and to appreciate the human connections that form the foundation of our work. These moments reminded us that caring for one another is just as important as the work we do for others.

Above all, we wish to thank each and every staff member who attended — and those who contribute daily — for your unwavering dedication, hard work, and commitment to the organisation. As a charity, our impact is measured not only by outcomes, but by the compassion, effort, and heart our people bring into everything they do.
