Oranjekloof Primary Multi Day, 3–6 November 2025

3 – 6 November was nothing short of magical! We had the absolute joy of welcoming the Grade 4s from Oranjekloof Primary School for a multi-day adventure over 40 bright, buzzing kids every single day. Each morning felt like opening a new chapter of the same beautiful story, with a fresh group arriving ready to explore, learn, and laugh with us.

We started each morning with the banana icebreaker at the park, and from that moment, the day was filled with pure joy. The children enjoyed every tiny moment: riding the elevator like it was an amusement ride, running down the stairs in fits of laughter, and even turning the little bathroom breaks into mini adventures. Their excitement was contagious.

From there, the magic only grew. They learned how to sail, many for the very first time, and we watched brave little hearts push past their fears. Some children stepped onto the boats with shaking hands, but like our courageous friends, the green frog, they found their strength and tried anyway. Others fell so in love with the water that they didn’t want to get off the boats at all.

We sang, we danced, and we told stories of superheroes like Terrence and baby Adam, who reminded them that courage comes in all shapes and sizes. The learning continued on land, too, as the children explored water safety and visited the Aquarium, a first-time experience for many and one that lit up their faces with wonder.

And at the end of every day, we gathered in a small ceremony to celebrate them to honour how incredibly brave they had been, how they challenged themselves, and how they stepped into something new with open hearts. Their smiles made every moment uncomfortable.
