Start offering x 1 or 2 afternoons ( 3 to 5pm / summer 2/ 3  till 6 )  a week,    and each Saturday arvi 2 till 5/ 6 pm

–     R200  per child ( 6  to 10  kids )  

• R300  per child ( 1 to 5 kids )
• R450 per child    semi private  (2  kids )

Your Lesson does good and helps to sponsor another marginalised child’s sailing program :

• X1 BOOK donated to a child , on your behalf per booking ( R75)  

• extra book  for you = R75 if they want one

LESSON CONTENT: ( 2 hrs)

Welcome – prep  5 min

Basic Optimist intro and story/ video – 10 min

Water safety and local environment talk – 10 min ( location, lifejackets, wind, hazards, capsize drill, rescue protocol, finger entrapment , otters, etc)

Science of sailing talk and boat instruction – 15 min

On the water sailing  – 1.15  hr

Each child receives a Certificate on completion

Kids Sailing party  – 3 hours

6  to 9 pax R450

10 to 15 pax R350

X 1 book donated to marginalised  per child

Each kid who pays , helps sponsor a kid who cant pay

Days framework and inclusions  –  AS ABOVE  + ocean health

Sailing for 2 hrs  – learn to sail with instructor, then in pairs , ( maybe individual)  – 1 hr

Snacks / cake  ( not supplied)  30 min

Sailing race and relays – 1 hr
