When the Soccer Buddyz traded a soccer tournament for a Regatta… that’s exactly what went down at The Little Optimist Sailing Academy. ⚓⚽

Some would say it was a sugar rush, but we knew exactly what that excitement was. The kind that creeps up when you’re a little nervous, yet excited about what the day holds.

The energy was unmatched. From story time to the on-land sailing instructions, you could see the boys’ faces beaming with absolute joy. Yoh! And when they finally got onto the water, there was no way we were getting them off those boats. These ones were real champions, the kind that take on a Regatta without giving it a second thought. Absolute vibes.

Then came knot-tying… yes, they did that effortlessly too. But what was truly beautiful about these young champs was that they refused to move forward without everyone else. They helped each other master that overhand knot, no matter how difficult it seemed at first.

And by prize-giving? Everyone went bananas! 🤣🏆
They struck signature poses like their favourite soccer players, danced, cheered, and sang at the top of their lungs.
