On Saturday 24 May, The Little Optimist Crew made waves at the V&A Waterfront as we took part in the much-anticipated Dragon Boat Tug of War Challenge! We brought fun, colour, and laughter to the waterfront, and it was a day to remember.

Going head-to-head with some of the best teams in the game, we didn’t back down for a second.

We may be small, but we’ve got heart, and when we pull together, there’s nothing we can’t face.

Beyond the tugging and cheering, it was also a beautiful cultural exchange, connecting with people from different walks of life, sharing stories, songs, and smiles. The event reminded us how powerful sport and play can be in uniting communities and celebrating diversity.

We walked away tired but proud, not just of our effort, but of the joy and spirit we shared with others.
