The Waterfront Canal Swim was a beautiful mix of courage, joy, and unforgettable memories.

One of the swimmers put it perfectly: 

“How can I miss this? It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience!”

Despite life’s challenges, she didn’t let her circumstances define her, she dove in headfirst with pure determination.

From the music pumping through the air to the heartwarming acts of kindness, the vibe was electric.

The Little Optimist crew were all hands on deck! They made sure no swimmer was left behind, helping with wetsuits, offering encouragement, and being a rock-solid support system throughout the entire event. Rain or shine, they stood strong, driven by hope and united by purpose.

People of all ages and abilities came together for something bigger than themselves and they did it with courage, smiles, and so much heart.

As we aim to keep hope afloat, it was a true honour to stand alongside such brave swimmers and passionate supporters.
