The Vista Nova Multi-Day Sailing Program has been an incredible journey from the very first day — filled with courage, laughter, and moments of pure joy. Each day, the children have grown more confident, learning to trust themselves and embrace the freedom that sailing brings.

Day 1: Excitement and New Beginnings ⛵

As the children arrived, you could see the mix of emotions — some nervous, others bursting with excitement! The atmosphere quickly filled with smiles as they explored the boats and met their sailing buddies. One of the sweetest moments was watching a learner in a wheelchair determined to get into the boat all on his own — and he did it! That spark of independence set the tone for the rest of the program.

Day 2: Building Confidence and Teamwork 🌤️

By the second day, the children were more comfortable on the water. They started learning how to work together — pulling ropes, steering, and helping one another. You could see how their confidence was growing with every small success. The laughter carried across the water as they discovered that sailing isn’t just about boats; it’s about trust, teamwork, and courage.

Day 3: Independence and Leadership 💙

Today was all about independence! The kids were eager to do things themselves — steering, balancing, and even giving sailing commands with pride. A special highlight was Siya, who took the lead as captain for the day. His excitement and confidence showed just how much the children have grown in just a few days. Seeing their faces light up as they guided the boats reminded us why this program matters so much.
