On opening night – 12 April, documentary – OPTIMIST – was screened along with 2 other films.

Academy Award winning Director Pippa Ehrlich (My Octopus Teacher), filmmaker and storyteller Bryan Little, local documentary filmmaker Dean Leslie along with our Founder Greg Bertish sat down for Q&A during the screening of – Older than Trees, OPTIMIST and Ode to Failure. It was a wonderful night filled with inspiration and adventure.

On 15 April at Jack Black Tap Room, during the Cape Town Adventure Film Festival, the Great Optimist Race winning Team sat down with Kirsten Neuschafer – winner of Ocean Globe Race.

On this night – Race to Alaska – was screened.
