Thanks to the V&A  Waterfront promotion and our Crazy Store partnership our Teddy Bear Drive was  able to collect over 1000 Toys and Teddies.

We ran a Christmas promotion in the V&A Waterfront from 10 to 24 December, and our stand was a highlight offering an opportunity for shoppers to give back and donate Teddies for kids in hospital.

Between 22 and 24 December, we delivered  these toys to those in need.  We personally visited Maitland Children’s Hospital, Red Cross Children’s Hospital, Tygerberg Children’s Hospital and the homeless kids of Masipumulela.  (kids whose homes were destroyed by a fire in Masi, just before Xmas)

We delivered over 600 toys and many smiles to these sites and have further donated toys to deliver to other Educare and health facilities as soon as Covid regulations allow.
