HELP LITTLE ONWABA GET NEW LEGS!

“I had the privilege to visit a small rural town in the Transkei,  South Africa called Malungeni. I got to meet this champion Onwaba.  What a sweet, joyful, full of life young girl.  Unfortunately she has terrible bow legs that I could see was a huge hindrance to her mobility. She cannot do any sports, cant walk long distances, cant run and play with friends, and is being badly teased and bullied at school.

So I decided I needed to help this young lady to improve her health and future life. She needs a major operation , to correct her legs ( give her new straight and beautiful legs)  I have partnered with  the Little Optimist Trust to raise the funds for her to have an operation in Cape Town at the Maitland Orthopaedic Children’s Hospital. This hospital was renovated and painted by The Little Optimist Trust back in 2017, and is a fantastic Government surgical hospital for kids.

Onwaba will need to have her mother with her as she is only 4 years old. Her mom and Onwaba will need to stay in CapeTown for six weeks after the operation, as she will be immobile for a week or two and then need Doctors  check ups.  It’s also possible that she might need another operation  to keep rectifying the problem … I ask you as my friend to please  pledge an amount, no matter how big or small because every little bit adds up … and we can help this little Girl walk and run and be Free!”
