What’s better than starting the school holidays at the Little Optimist Sailing Academy ⛵💙

We kicked off the July school holidays with a fantastic group from Marsh Memorial, and what a day it was!

One little boy walked through the door and shouted, “I’m ready to learn all about Greg and the little boat!” He had only heard about the Little Optimist from his friends, and this time, he got to experience the adventure for himself.

The day began with stories that inspired, empowered, and sparked curiosity. The boys and girls were especially captivated by the story of baby Adam. They couldn’t stop asking how he was doing and what he had been up to.

Then came the sailing and what a sight it was! These little captains jumped into the dinghies as if they’d been sailing for years. They sang, giggled, cheered each other on, and embraced every moment on the water with confidence and excitement.

The prize-giving ceremony was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day. The drumrolls nearly lifted the roof, and every child was celebrated with enthusiastic applause, cheers, and smiling faces. Watching them encourage one another was a beautiful reminder that success is even sweeter when it’s shared.

What a fantastic way to begin the school holidays. We can’t wait to welcome many more young adventurers through our doors over the coming weeks! 🌊⛵
