10 March 2021.  It was a stormy rainy day . Many of these kids live in small houses or shacks in the vicinity of the school.  Many did not make it to school this day due to the weather and their dire circumstances.

But for those that did, all had fun , and the Little Optimist Team  inspired a class of Grade R Kids aged 6 and 7 years old.

They watched the  Little Optimist Cartoon movie , learned about how cool it is to be different, how little people can do HUGE things and to never , ever give up.

All the kids got a personalised Little Optimist Book and the boys got a toy aeroplane while the girls each got a teddy bear.

Gloria our wonderful Volunteer made them all feel loved and welcome and Greg had them laughing and having fun.
