⚽⛵ We had a fun day with a group of soccer girls who came to sail at our Hout Bay YC site.

For many of them, it was their first time on the water, and they were very excited.

We started with a small introduction and showed them the boats and safety rules. The girls listened well and were ready for the adventure.

At first, one girl felt very scared. She was unsure and did not want to go on the boat. We encouraged her gently and gave her time to feel safe.

After a while, she decided to try. Once she got on the boat, something amazing happened—she started to enjoy it! By the end of the session, she was smiling and laughing.

When it was time to come back, she was the one who did not want to get out of the boat. It was a beautiful moment to see her grow in confidence.

The rest of the girls also had a great time. They enjoyed sailing, laughing, and supporting each other. It was a day full of courage, fun, and new experiences.
