Ullman Team Building, 19 September 2025

On the 19th of September, we had the absolute joy of hosting the Ullman team for their team-building day, and what a day it was! We kicked things off with a quick check-in energizer followed by a light-hearted mingle, mingle activity to shuffle everyone into brand-new squads. The catch? No sticking with your usual work buddies! This way, teams were a colorful mix of personalities ready to discover new sides of each other.

By the end of it, we had four vibrant crews: Team Green, Team Purple, Team Blue, and Team Pink. And let’s just say, once the games began, the inner child in everyone came alive. Water splashed through the air, laughter rang out, and each team came up with their own names and war cries chanted with all the seriousness of a championship final!

From the moment they pushed off, the water became a playground. Splashes flew as the boats chased and bumped, teammates chanted their war cries across the canal, and each crew proudly shouted out their freshly invented team names. What began as a sailing session quickly turned into a full-on floating festival of laughter, cheering, and childlike joy.

And our Little Optimist Sailing Crew? They were the loudest cheerleaders of them all waving, clapping, and singing at the top of their lungs to keep the energy high and the teams pumped.

The highlight? The rule-free relay race. Out on the boats, creativity became the only strategy. Some zigzagged, some powered through with wild splashes, and others leaned hard on teamwork and chants to carry them forward. It was messy, it was hilarious, and it was completely unforgettable.

But beneath all the laughter and water fights was something deeper: people pushing beyond their comfort zones, cheering each other on, and reconnecting through play. The Ullman team showed us what true team spirit looks like, not just in the office, but out on the open water, too.

It was a day filled with fun, freedom, and friendship, exactly what the Little Optimist boats are built for. And we can’t wait to welcome them back on board!
