​Term 2 has just begun, and we kicked it off by welcoming our friends from Vista Nova with a jam-packed, energy-filled day! Our check-in activity was completely different this time, with no singing or dancing like we usually do. Instead, it was deeply reflective
and creative. Each of the boys and girls painted a picture of how their holiday looked and felt, and we truly witnessed art at its best, full of colour, emotion, and imagination. While they were sharing their stories with the group, we also discovered some
truly incredible storytellers shining through, gifting us so many beautiful, heartfelt experiences.
But it didn’t end there! Next, we dived into a situational awareness activity with a sweet and exciting twist. The boys and girls had to carefully notice all the changes in the environment around them, an important skill for sailors. We then turned it into a treasure hunt adventure, hiding marshmallows around the canal, in boats, around the learning area, and even on our uniforms to challenge their observation skills 💙
