15 youth from Blikkiesdorp Football Club joined us on 13 December for a morning of inspiration, fun and sailing.
We were joined by Kevin Langeree (2 x World Kite boarding champion and 3 x Redbull King of the Air winner) and his sister Jalou Langeree (World champion kiteboarder) as well as James Taylor (Pro big-wave surfer and kite surfer).
There are no words to describe the day spent sailing with Kevin Langeree and Greg Bertish at The Little Optimist Sailing Academy.
What an incredible life changing experience and opportunity for the Blikkiesdorp FC. Life lessons taught at the sailing academy using sailing as the metaphor analogy will remain in the hearts and minds of the children, to remain positive and dream big.
Thankful to Greg Bertish, his instructors and team for showing the soccer players that there is a big wide world waiting for them and its all up to them.
